Anton’s background is business management and being an entrepreneur. His father had a garage and panel beating business in which Anton grew up and this is where his interest in business started. His debut in the formal business sector was by Shoprite, where he was a manager for a few years. He then entered the private hospital industry and after a few years as Hospital Manager of a private Hospital, he became a Director at the MediClinic Hospital Group. Presently Anton is the Managing Director of the Life Path Health Hospital Group (www.lifepathgroup.co.za) of which he was the founder more than 15 years ago. Life Path Health supplies mental health inpatient treatment.
Anton was winner of the Sanlam national medium business Entrepreneur of the Year award in 2013. He is a founding member as well as General Admin manager and Financial Director of Die Bron Kerk Church NPC. Anton believes that God has placed him here with his experience to make sure that the church finances are managed in an honourable way so that the ministry team can focus on the preaching of the Gospel.
Anton has found that a meaningful life is impossible without an intimate relationship with God. He believes in continues daily prayer where God becomes part of every aspect of your life.
He is married to Felicity for 33 years and they have 2 beautiful children and one precious grandchild. Felicity is a pharmacist by profession and was previously the Managing Director of the MediClinic Hospital Group’s hospital pharmacies. In her quiet yet spontaneous manner, she serves God with a passion and supports Anton in the background with the management of his business as well as his duties at Die Bron.
